“No child shall be made fun of, embarrassed or humiliated in any way before, during or after school hour. Each student, no matter how ‘different’ will be accorded the respect and dignity which is his or her human right.” - Jennings Michael Burch
Each 6th grade student reads the book of Jennings Michael Burch and his struggles as a child. At the end of each year, a boy and a girl from each grade are awarded the Jennings Awards. These are chosen by their classmates as the students who live out the Jennings Rule each day.
